Phil still heads up the teaching program at OptiGolf as the Director of Instruction where he combines the golf simulator technology with video analysis to allow his students an opportunity to work on their golf games year round. In 2016, the Phil Cornetta Golf School partnered with Sun N’ Air Golf Center in Danvers, MA to head up the Instruction Program. Sun N’ Air Golf Center has consistently been ranked as one of the best driving range and practice centers in Massachusetts. Sun N’ Air Golf Center has a large open driving range, private grass tee for Instruction, a large short game area with bunkers, a putting green, and 3 hole Par 3 course.
Phil Cornetta Golf School – The Phil Cornetta Golf School teaching philosophy is simple: “Build an on-plane and fundamentally sound golf swing around each student’s physical characteristics such as flexibility, body structure, strength and athletic ability.”
Phil’s innovative approach to teaching, his great communication skills and his blend of technology and drills are what make him one of the premier golf instructors in Massachusetts. Phil has been teaching golf for over 12 years, is a PGA Certified Teaching Professional, and has taught over 15,000 golf lessons. Phil uses V1 Golf Coaching Software for video analysis in combination with FlightScope 3D Doppler Radar(launch monitor) for ball flight tracking and impact analysis.
“By using a balance of technology, drills, training aids and providing feedback I feel I can offer the highest quality instruction available. I believe in coaching players over a period of time in order to build on each student’s strengths while improving their weaknesses. This will form a core of essential golf skills that will improve any golfer’s game.”
“The golf swing is a balance between basic physics, feel(intrinsic feedback), and technique(fundamentals and sequencing) and our goal at the golf school is to help each student understand and improve in each of these areas.” –Phil Cornetta, PGA
“Regardless of your level, age, or experience I can help you take your golf game to an entirely new level.” -Phil Cornetta
