Phil Cornetta
PGA Golf Professional
Phil is a Class “A” PGA Teaching Professional with over 15,000 hours of golf lessons taught. Phil works with a wide array of players from multiple Professional Mini-Tour winners, elite high school and college players, AJGA and Junior PGA Tour winners, multiple Club Champions from across the North Shore to your average everyday players that is just looking to improve and have more fun.
Phil grew up on Bass Rocks Golf Club where he remains a member today. He graduated at the top of his class from the Golf Academy of America in Orlando, FL where he played professionally on the Florida Golf Tour and Moonlight Tour while earning a degree in Golf Complex Management with a duel emphasis on Golf Instruction and Club Fitting. He served as an Assistant Golf/Teaching Professional at Salem Country Club for 5 years before leaving to become the GM/Director of Golf at Rowley Country Club for several years. In 2010, Phil helped start the largest indoor golf center in New England and was their Director of Instruction for 6 years. In 2016, the Phil Cornetta Golf School partnered with Sun ‘N Air Golf Center in Danvers, MA to run their golf instruction program. Phil is also a TaylorMade Professional Staff Member.
Phil’s innovative approach to teaching, his great communication skills and his blend of technology and drills are what make him one of the premier golf instructors in Massachusetts. All of his lessons include video analysis, FlightScope 3D Doppler Launch Monitor Technology, and the use of training aids and drills when needed.

Phil Cornetta Golf School – The Phil Cornetta Golf School teaching philosophy is simple: “Build an on-plane and fundamentally sound golf swing around each student’s physical characteristics such as flexibility, body structure, strength and athletic ability.”
Phil’s innovative approach to teaching, his great communication skills and his blend of technology and drills are what make him one of the premier golf instructors in Massachusetts. Phil has been teaching golf for over 12 years, is a PGA Certified Teaching Professional, and has taught over 15,000 golf lessons. Phil uses V1 Golf Coaching Software for video analysis in combination with FlightScope 3D Doppler Radar(launch monitor) for ball flight tracking and impact analysis.
